- Thorough experience on product formulations, product development with deep understanding of recipes and product pricing
- Strong Product Development and Quality orientation to deliver best-in-class products
- Experience in non-food QA/QC protocols, testing parameters, regulatory guidelines and other such critical product aspects
- Understanding of analytical test methods (chemical/instrumentation)
- Understanding of innovation process; successful record of new product introductions and scale-up would be preferred
- Experience in vendor management – vendor selection, development, capability, audits, etc.
- Experience in working with other partners – fragrance houses, RM/PM suppliers, machinery vendors, etc.
- Entrepreneurial attitude to build a significant business given the opportunity
