Job Overview:
- Position involves the responsibility of building the advanced optimization & simulation models and helping to identify, analyze and implement opportunities in the areas of distribution or manufacturing network design and optimization, supply network planning and restructuring, strategic alliance distribution networks, inventory optimization, strategic planning for retail chains, and other decision problems.
- Broad understanding of modeling processes and business transformations using optimization (Sourcing/Manufacturing/Distribution/Inventory/Retail)
- Preferably experience in working on Optimization and/or simulation tools (Supply Chain Guru, Inventory Analyst, Premium Solver or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and tools
- Strong analytical and business acumen skills
- Strong analytic ability to translate data into actionable information
- Experience in dealing with large data sets and tools like MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Access, Visio
- Preferably 2+ years
- Continuous Improvement experience preferred
- Experience with CI tools, such as Why-Why, Standard Work, JTAs
- Orientation toward process tools and discipline
