Position : Resident Construction Manager
Company/Deptt IOTECS (Subsidiary of IOT) / Build
Reporting to : Project Director
Responsible for : Overall Construction Management at Site,
Location : Paradip
Role Purpose: To execute the construction at site within budget, Schedule, Quality & Highest
Standards of HSSE and in accordance with approved Plan.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Overseeing, monitoring and executing construction activities at site.
2. Coordination with multi‐disciplinary team at site and site contractors for smooth running of
construction activities.
3. Ensuring construction sequences and methodologies adopted are in compliance with project
execution plan there by fulfilling HSSE and Quality requirements and ensuring timely
completion within budget.
4. Ensure timely mobilization of Resources (Manpower, Material and Equipment) by
coordinating with the project planning team and respective HO departments to ensure on
time availability of required workforce and equipment as well as ensuring proper use of
resources.
5. Monitoring and sharing of construction progress to all concerned. Adherence to contract
specifications, quality standards by obtaining regular reports and feedback from all
concerned department and site contractors to ensure compliance to agreed timeline and
standards.
6. Manage to obtain mandatory licenses, approvals and clearances as required for construction
activities. (Across functions).
7. Building a robust professional rapport with the client by understanding their expectation
and requirements and regular sharing of construction progress report to ensure high level of
customer satisfaction and transparency.
8. Creating a congenial work environment to ensuring harmony among local manpower,
nearby community and IOT employees by understanding the local culture and workforce
psyche.
Qualification: Diploma or Graduate in Engineering
Experience: Minimum 15 years. Should have handled a large tank farm and terminal construction
project as RCM
