Area Sales Manager - Lucknow

Job Description

• Developing sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives of the company. Monitor and control the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region

• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets

• Responsible for achievement of Primary and Secondary sales targets of the assigned territory

• Developing a network of channel partners to support market penetration of brand.

• Conducts regular market visits to check rural coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region

• Strategy formulation for increasing sales & visibility in retail outlets

• Responsible for managing the team, motivating them and getting them to deliver their metrices. The Area Manager will be required to understand the working style, strengths and weaknesses of each team member and provide developmental inputs on a continuous basis.

• Responsible to ensure channel hygiene like appointment process, attrition, and flow of communication.  

• Ensuring channel investment as per company norms.  

• Will be responsible for successful launch of new products in the territory

• Conducts one-on-one review with all TSO's to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of TSO's sales and activity performance

• Driving of sub distributors in Rural markets and ensuring coverage of rural towns in the assigned territory.

• Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance

• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Other Details: Will handle Lucknow rural market
