Job Summary

Job Profile/Authority Responsibility: 

RSM is overall responsible for establishing, developing the sales and marketing network in the given region and expand the customer base in established segments and identify new market segments for the products. RSM is also responsible for developing and sustaining the marketing team to ensure presence of Sure Safety across the region. 


Brief job description:

To develop and execute sales and marketing plan for the region to achieve the targets given by the top management.


Technical functions:

  • Strategic planning for the whole region ( manpower, product ,prospective customers, collection and resource requirement)
  • Provide direction to the back office for the sources for identifying the key customers.
  • Identify the key customers and collect data on the relevance of our Products based on the data provided by the back office.
  • Developing new customers.
  • Visit customers for technical discussion and assess viability for business.
  • To present the new product for generating requirement.
  • To handle technical problems related to products and product application.
  • To attend/ participate regional, national and international business events as directed by management.

Managerial functions:

  • To plan annual targets, sub divide it into quarterly and distribute the same among the team.
  • To supervise and control performance of Area Sales Managers by regular performance monitoring, meetings and feedbacks.
  • Train the team members for the product promotion and customer relationship management
  • To ensure availability of norms for effective performance.
  • Management of customer complaint.
  • Customer retention.
  • Follow up for collection and reconciliation of accounts. If required visiting customers.
  • Inter-regional, inter departmental and coordination with the Head Office.
  • Cost controlling.
  • Ensure execution of HR policies, marketing policies and implementation of PMS across the region
  • Participate in the selection and performance appraisal process.
  • Supervise and implement the agreements with the Channel Partners.
  • Conflict management among the team members.
  • To analyze the customer feedback and initiate corrective actions
