Job Profile/Authority Responsibility:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing of quality material, making the
material available on time, vendor payments, procuring quality material, proper
GRN.(Vendor Development )
Technical
ï· Checking the technical aspect of the product
ï· Ensuring the quality of the product
ï· Price negotiation
Managerial
ï· Customs handling
ï· Documentation related to Imported material
ï· Arranging for samples if needed to test and approve(Activity drawing)
ï· Closing purchase requisition on time
ï· Mode of transport for incoming material
ï· Selection and performance evaluation of Vendors
ï· Ensuring the orders flow as per the designated plan & procedure
ï· Timeliness closing of the order
ï· Co-ordinating with Stores for Inventory level, Re-ordering
ï· Defining MOQâs (Minimum Order Quantity)
Administration
ï· Generating the Purchase Order
ï· Taking the GRN
ï· All records to be maintained in SAP
Authorized to
ï· Take decisions related to price after approval
ï· Select and reject suppliers based on evaluation
ï· Release POâs upto 100K
Reporting to: Head-Operations
