Tourist Guides (Gujarati / Hindi)


CIEL HR Services Pvt. Ltd. (CIEL) is one of the premier Human Resource Management Company providing HR Services to various clients in India and abroad. CIEL is in need of energetic, young and enthusiastic Tourist Guides who can provide guide services in Gujarati / Hindi language with excellent fluency to the national and international tourists visiting Statue of Unity, Kevadia, Gujarat.



  • To provide guide services in Gujarati / Hindi language to the national and international tourists visiting Statue of Unity (World's Tallest Statue) located at Sardar Sarovar Dam, Kevadia in the State of Gujarat, India.
  • To provide service as per the timings and days decided by the appropriate authority.
  • To accompany VIPs with appropriate decorum and protocol.
  • To maintain discipline and please tourists with good behavior & providing authentic information about the various tourists points.


Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized university and should have at least one year relevant experience either in tourism, communication, journalism, secretarial assistance etc.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with excellent fluency in Gujarati / Hindi.
  • The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • The candidate should be capable to handle queries successfully, and should be flexible to work as per the programme requirements.
  • The candidate should have information gathering skills, understanding of basic office administrative processes, technology literacy, particularly internet and social media.
  • The candidate should have excellent common sense and positive aptitude.


Age: Max. 35 years as on the last date of application. 

Salary & Allowances: 

  • Selected candidate will be offered a fixed term appointment initially for a period of seven months on a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.15000 on CTC mode. The contract may be extended further as per the mutual convenience.



  • Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the test/interview.
  • CIEL may conduct written & verbal test to further short list eligible candidates for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for the personal interview. CIEL also reserves right to shortlist the candidates by fixing revised eligibility criteria. Other things being equal, eligible candidates with additional relevant professional qualification, experience etc. will be given preference.
  • The selected candidates will be required to undergo appropriate training (free of cost) as decided and prescribed by CIEL and needs to pass the written and verbal tests before the actual contractual appointment. If the performance of the candidate in written and verbal test is not found up to the mark then he/she may be asked to leave the job.
  • The selected candidates will also be required to undergo appropriate training (on chargeable basis, if required) as decided and prescribed by CIEL and needs to pass the written and verbal tests during the contract period OR before the renewal of the contract. If the performance of the candidate in written and verbal test is not found up to the mark then he/she may be asked to leave the job.
  • The selected candidates will be required to sign a bond of Rs.10000. If the selected candidate leaves the job at his/her own before expiry of the contract period, he/she may be required to pay Rs.10000 to CIEL.
  • The selected candidates will be required to stay at Kevadia at their own expense.
  • The candidates recruited can be transferred to any other client location.
  • Decision of Management to call the candidates for selection shall be final. Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant or through other sources will disqualify his/her candidature.

Please bring with you the following documents (self-attested):

  1. One copy of your latest bio-data/CV,
  2. Copies of all your educational certificates & mark sheets starting from SSC onwards,
  3. Copies of all your experience certificates or appointment letters starting from first job to the current one,
  4. Last Pay Slip (if any),
  5. Three pass port size photographs with your name on back side of the photograph,


Please note that written test (if conducted) will cover multiple choice questions. During personal interview, you will also be asked to speak for few minutes in Gujarati / Hindi language (verbal test) on a given topic. The test & interview process may continue till late evening, so please be prepared to spare almost whole day and sufficient time for the same.


If you are short listed for the second round of interview, you will be communicated along with the schedule and accordingly you may have to appear for the second round of interview on November 16, 2019. If you are selected, you may have to undergo training, free of cost.


You need to attend the written test and personal interview at your own cost. In case of need, please make your own arrangement at your own cost for tea/coffee, snacks, lunch, dinner etc. You will not be paid for any kind of travel allowance or any other expense to attend the written test and personal interview. Please note that CIEL will not reimburse any kind of local travel and boarding/ lodging expenses. Please note that any request for SkyPe or Video Call interview will not be entertained. 


The company reserves the right to cancel your candidature at any point of time during this interview process, if you fail to satisfy eligibility criteria in accordance with terms and conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
